Was so excited when it finally arrived!! Was alittle shocked at first cause of how heavy it was but have adjusted to it and love it so much. It helps a lot with my anxiety and is so soft and warm. Thank you so muchSuper soft, quality fabric, durable. This blanket looks very high quality. It's beautiful, the pattern and color scheme. All my kids want to steal it from me but that's not happening lol. The blanket is very warm which I like because I'm always cold. My husband likes to sleep with the fan on and usually I still feel the breeze through other blankets and freeze but that's not the case with this blanket. The weight is distributed evenly, it has micro glass beads, nice removable cover because nobody is going to was a 20lb blanket lol, and it's really the best quality, glass bead weighted blanket with a removable minky cover for the price. I looked everywhere for a long time. I'm 5'8" 200lbs and my husband is almost 6' and a little bit heavier than I am and the 20lb blanket is the perfect weight for both our body sizes.I ordered this blanket for my boyfriend who is 6 ft tall, 185 lbs. I ordered 15 lb weight because we live in hot Florida. I would have preferred a light ivory/neutral type color, but the blue is beautiful. The fabric is the best quality and luxurious to the touch. Very pleased, as I didn’t want to be disappointed and go through all the hassle of returning. That is why I didn’t order a less costly version of the weighted blanket. This blanket had zero fumes or odor right out of the box. It is really an investment and not only from a money standpoint, but one doesn’t want one more thing in the home just sitting on the shelf as clutter. We are using this now and we will see how we like it! I will update this review after a couple of weeks of use. But, so far, very impressed with quality!Love the blanket. Only down side is the insert food around inside the outer shell since there are no ties to hold it in place. Great weight fir my 13 year old.After reading an article about weighted blankets, I decided to get one because it seemed like something that could help me. For my weight I found I should shop for a 10 pound weighted blanket. I ended up ordering this one, and am extremely happy with it. The blanket is fuzzy and soft, and warm. Usually to fall asleep, I used to need to listen to some audio - music, a book, or a podcast. However, the first night I used my weighted blanket, I didn't need to listen to audio at all to fall asleep. I'm grateful for my weighted blanket and love it.I'm really enjoying the weighted blanket, I've always wanted to try it out. It's been great on those chilly nights, the only draw back is, I'm a bigger guy and I bought the 20lb blanket to match my weight and it feels a little heavy, not much but a little heavyMy daughter immediately loved this, she had night time anxiety and I was hopeful! She started using it the night of Dec 25,2019 since it was a Christmas gift. By now, January 18, 2020 it seems the weight has shifted to the sides/corners. I try to shake it out and disperse the weight again... not really working.15 pounds is heavier than you would think. I purchased this for my wife for Yule, and gave it to her a little early due to a furnace issue. She stayed warm under it, and the weight fits her perfectly, she feels very comfortable with it. Very very pleased with this purchase.I don't know if you can tell from the picture (as I'm writing the review, it won't let me pull up the pic) but the blue side has "nubbins" worked into it, so it's a textured cover. It's a nice feel.As of this writing, a week after having used the blanket, I will consider purchasing another, if it holds up.This is a very nice blanket. It is definitely weighted, without a doubt. I would like to ad, by saying that it is somewhat overrated in its reviews, that the ability to help with Depression, Anxiety and sleeplessness just isn’t there for me. It gives a cuddling feeling and is comfortable. This opinion, is strictly based on my experience with the blanket, and may work in the area’s, that I mentioned earlier, for someone else.
