I bought it for my grand niece and it actually fit her mom. Perhaps she will grow into it. It is really soft just too large. Maybe a 16 year old.Purchase for an 8 yr old. Fit is great and super cozy. I often find her lounging with it in.Wished I had a picture of granddaughter's face when she opened the gift. She loves cats and tie-dye. Too big but she loved it.My daughter absolutely loves it and how soft it is she great for lazy days around the houseI was excited to surprise my daughter with this blanket hoodie. When it arrived in the mail, I was taken aback by the softness. The hoodie is thicker and even more comfortable than I thought to the point where my even my oldest daughter was a bit jealous. The mermaid pattern is nice and vibrant, too. I have been washing it on cold and low tumble dry, and so far the blanket hoodie still looks and feels brand new. I will probably end up having to another one by the looks of it. It is definitely well worth the price!My daughter is 8, but petite. So this was extremely big on her. She didn't care, once she saw it and put it on, she wouldn't take it off. She read books in it and played on her tablet in it. It is very warm. When it first arrived it had a pretty bad manufacturing smell to it. So I washed it with some of the scented bead things and wa-la! Smell all gone. No issues, with seams, and stitching or any manufacturing defects. Overall daughter loves it, and got it just in time for winter.So warm and thick. My 8 year old loves it.Nice and big
