I find that I'm cold in the middle of the night in the winter in Ga. It is much thinner than I thought it would be. It is more the thickness of a throwblanket than a bed quilt. It is only 1 layer thick of fabric.It really is. It's by FAR the best blanket we've ever seen, much less owned. Of all the gifts I've bought my wife (married 23-1/2 years) over the last 25 years, including jewelry, trips, etc, my wife says this is the best present she's e er received. It's noy that my gifts suck, it's that this blanket is that good. We've owned it exactly 3-1/2 years as of next week. My wife sits under every night during the time that we watch tv. That's approximately 1200 evenings! Plus my kids are always using it. It probably has 4000 hours of use and it's fine. If I washed it right now and threw in 3 tablespoons of softner, it would feel like new again. Oh, 4000 hours of use and probably washed and high heat dried around 75 or 80 times after doing the math. There are no loose threads, worn areas, really I don't know what to say there's none of because it's still like new. This isn't just the best blanket we've ever owned, this is the best THING we've ever owned. Nothing else can get used for like 4-5 hours a day, every day, for over 1200 days, washed/dried like 75 - 80 times, and literally, I swear, still look and feelsl like new. It's magic or something. I simply cannot recommend it enough.This was a birthday gift for my daughter who turned 6 & she absolutely LOVES it! It was bigger than I expected--which wasn't a problem, wish it was thicker but overall its a beautiful blanket!Very nice for good priceThis blanket is everything I wanted! It is so gorgeous and soft. Some reviews made me 2nd guess but I went with my best interest and got it! The details are way too cool. I'm so happy with my purchase. I got one similar for my hubby too. His is a wolf though. For size our bed is a cali king so um yes I am shocked it days queen but fits! Buy the blanket!!!I got this in the mail the other day and I have to say, I LOVE IT. it looks very simular to the picture, the blanket is a bit brighter then the photo. More of a brighter version but its still soft, thick, warm, and plushie! I couldn't help but cuddle with it out of the bag. I read other reviews that it was smelly? I didn't have that problem and I have a great sence of smell, it smelled like the plastic bag it came out of. Not roses or new car smell, but why would I expect that? I popped it in the washer and then the dryer and it came out like I bought it soft no bleeding colors and smelled fresh. You can tell the front from the back even though the print is on both sides by the fluffy on one side, but it looks great on my bed, thick/heavy, warm and love the wolf-wolf!Blanket is huge and thick and really soft cozy and comfy but the image is a little faded and her face is a little blurry I would imagine it is hard to print on this kind of material the blanket uses and this is why her face is a little blurry and the image probably could be a little better but overall it is a very nice blanket and I am happy with it I just took one star off because I expected the image could be a little better like what is shownIts not as thick as I wanted but beautiful picture and my son loved it!
